Rabies & Microchip Clinic
Virginia Code ยง 3.2-6521 requires that all dogs and cats four months of age and older be vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian or authorized technician. The owner must obtain a vaccination certificate, and the animal must be kept currently vaccinated to prevent rabies, a fatal disease.
Is your pet up to date? Join us along with Henry County Animal Shelter and Martinsville City Animal Control on Thursday, April 9th from 9am to 1pm for our Rabies and Microchip clinic. In order to get a microchip you must have proof of a current rabies vaccine. Packages for ID tags, rabies vaccine, and microchip available.
Microchip (with proof of valid rabies): $20
Rabies vaccine: $15
ID name tag: $8
Microchip (with proof of valid rabies) & ID name tag: $20
Microchip, Rabies, and ID name tag: $30
